Free Screenings of EUROS 2024 Football Matches: With the Euro 2024 in full swing at the beginning of July, and England’s hopes still being in tact – there is always a good opportunity to catch a match at one of the free screening across London. In every section (North, South, East and West) of London, there are a variety of options. From the Big Penny Social in Walthamstow or Hotel Mundial in Hoxton Docks. Flat Iron Square in South East London, Market Halls Victoria, etc. Most of the venues require booking in advance. If you are a fan of football, and want to get into the Euros mood get yourself down to one of these venues, the atmosphere is electric.

Free Cinema Screenings: As mentioned in the previous Free Things to do in London this June – free cinema screenings tend to pop up during the summer months and this month we are going to feature the offerings from Film Club in Canary Wharf. The options tend to “fill out” closer to the time but currently in July, you can watch The Dark Knight, Monsters Inc, Romeo & Juliet and Crazy Rich Asians. More information can be found here

Alfresco Arts at Canary Wharf: Also located at Canary Wharf is the Alfresco Arts Family series, where a range of activities, theatre and workshops for kids are available. Most of these events are non-ticketed and best of all, FREE. In July there is Rocket Power and Goldilocks. The information for both can be found here

The Conservatory x Ranjani Shettar at the Barbican: Located on the 3rd level of the main building opens in the middle of June and runs until the middle of July. This installation is free, but tickets need to be booked in advance. Tickets are released every Friday, up to one month in advance. The photos of this exhibition look stunning and genuinely beautiful. For more information about this, click here.

Wimbledon Screenings: Another annual summer event is the Wimbledon Tennis Championship taking place in London.
