Sea Life and Lego Discovery Centre, Manchester

When I went to Manchester, we got to visit Sea Life and Lego Discovery Centre which were both in a huge shopping centre called the Trafford Centre.

Let’s start with Sea Life as I really enjoyed that!

This is also known as the Manchester Aquarium but it is very similar to many of the Sea Life’s we have visited before (London, Great Yarmouth, and also Alton Towers and Chessington!).

This Sea Life is not too big but I really enjoyed the way it was laid out and it even had a soft play inside too. I got to hold a starfish – anyone can – and this was a fun thing to do.

I also really liked the ocean tunnel where I saw little sharks and also the baby turtles too! There are so many beautiful sea animals to see.

There is also after hours events over the year where you can see mermaids swim. That would be very cool!

We then went next door to the Lego Discovery Centre.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but for some reason I thought it would be like Birmingham – it wasn’t though as it was quite a bit smaller.

The Lego Discovery Centre is more or less an indoor play area with a soft play but it also had a cool 4d cinema which was my favourite part!

I would say that it would be better to do both, because I think you wouldn’t spend much time in just Sea Life or Lego Discovery Centre. They are also across from a really big primark so good for shopping too!!

(Mum here! You can get combined tickets and if you purchase on line then it is around £30 per adult for entrance to both venues).
