Recently we visited Tamworth’s Snow Dome for their annual Santa’s Winter Wonderland. We have attended this experience a back in 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed it.
This year, there were a couple new additions to the experience and we also brought along our two little nieces (aged 4 & 3) and it was interesting to see how much they enjoyed it.
Included in your ticket you get access to Santa’s Christmas Snow Trail, an All New Santa Show and Santa’s Christmas Village.
Santa’s Christmas Snow Trail
This gives the kids (and adults) a chance to play around in real snow, throw snowballs, make snow angels, be dragged around on a sledge and also slide down snow slides, which includes a brand new bigger slide called Summit Slide. There are fun displays and also falling snow! The kids absolutely loved this experience and wanted to continuously go down the slides and just enjoy the huge amounts of snow!
All New Santa Show
After about 45 minutes of playing in Santa’s Christmas Snow Trail, you are lead to the theatre to watch a mini pantomime show presented by Santa – this show is new for this year and is the story of Cinderella. The show was quite short, but it kept all the kids entertained and was full of laughs and jokes for the whole family.

Santa’s Christmas Village
After the show, you are lead in the direction of the Christmas Village which includes a few animals to see, including guinea pigs, rabbits, goats and llamas. There is a chance to write Santa a letter, take a ride on a very cute and traditional carousel and finally enjoy the new festive games zone. This area is great for taking a breathe after the show and to walk around, grab a festive drink and chill as the kids run around having fun.
Verdict
We all had a lovely time at Santa’s Winter Wonderland at the Snow Dome in Tamworth and would highly recommend it as a unique experience. It is priced very reasonably and compared to other Christmas experiences, this does exactly what you need it to do.
All the kids had a great time and would love to go back next year – so it looks like that might be added to our plans!
Tickets for this year are still available and is actually running until the 7th of January 2024.

It’s great that the price was reasonable as this is often not the case for events and attractions like this. It looks like so much holiday fun was had; thanks for sharing this!
