A MUST-SEE EXHIBITION FOR ANY BATMAN FAN
A few days ago, we used our Fever Account to book tickets for the new Batman Unmasked Exhibition in the centre of London. Just off the Covent Garden Piazza, there is an entrance to this never-before-seen collection of Batman props, vehicles, and costumes from all the films from 1989 to 2022.
To mark the 85th Anniversary of the most iconic Super Hero, Batman – this new exhibition opened on the 6th September.
Fans of all ages can venture into Wayne Mansion for a preshow explanation of the exhibition, the Batcave to check out all the Batman suits, helmets and gadgets used by the cape crusader. There is a huge villain’s section which includes the Joker’s Room, Arkham Maze including a Riddler and Poison Ivy rooms and the Rogues’ Gallery showcasing costumes and set pieces from your favourite or most hated villains (including the iconic Joker’s nurses’ uniform worn by Heath Ledger from the Batman movie – The Dark Knight, Uma Thurman’s Poison Ivy’s ensemble, and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mr Freeze suit). Then you can get up close to the newest Batmobile from the 2022 The Batman movie, which was a great treat and having recently watched the film made the trip worthwhile. Finally, there is an interactive space which had a comic book section, video games, colouring, and themed toys for kids.
We really enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who has a love for Batman, the sets were cleverly laid out and the sear number of props, costumes and set pieces brought back memories of some of the best Superhero Movies ever made.
Our daughter really liked the exhibition but did get a bit scared at the Joker’s Room section which was super creepy but well presented (which is perfect for the Joker lol).
The experience takes around 45 minutes, the exhibition is running from 6th September until the 3rd November 2024 and tickets range from £24.50 to £29.50 per adult, £22 to £26.50 for 6-15 year olds and £12 – £13 for 2-5 year olds.
