If you are looking for some free things to do this May Half Term, look no further – we have you covered. I will be showcasing the top 10 free things you can do with your little ones in London during the half term period.
- Apple Store: Apple Stores often offer up entertaining activities for kids during the month and especially during the half term period, this can be a great help. Activities range from creating a new theme song, learning to code, creating your own emoji, etc. It is advised to book up early! Click Here
- Disney Store: The Disney Store in London (the only store remaining in the UK) offers the first visitor to opportunity to open the store in a magical way! We have done this experience a long time ago but it is an experience which will last a lifetime! The store is open from 9am on Monday to Saturday and 12pm on Sunday. - Free Mini Golf Canary Wharf: Located in Montgomery Square in Canary Wharf, you and the kids can enjoy a free round of mini golf. It is open from April until Sunday 29th September from 12pm-6pm daily. For more information Click Here
- Free Gaming at Samsung KX: Located in Kings Cross, you are able to immerse yourself in one of four gaming stations, using the most advanced Samsung gaming tech. Open from 11am-7pm on Monday to Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday it is a great way to spend an hour to 2. For more information Click Here
- Budding Builders at Westminster Abbey: This 2 hour event will couple building skills with the history of this amazing architectural beauty. Participants will be build and take home a mini Westminster Abbey, a trail around the building and enjoy storytelling. To book your tickets Click Here
- Discovery Days: Time Travellers at Hyde Park Learning Centre: On 28-30 May from 11am-3pm there is a free event suitable for the whole family. With activities such as create a plant print, design a park of the future and trying your hand at Calligraphy, this is such a lovely event to take part in. More information Click Here
- Family Tours at Tate Britain: On the 29th of May at 11-11.30am you are invited to have a free family tour which will showcase 2-3 artworks and might involve a related activity. For more information Click Here
- Uniqlo Tate Play Holiday: Another event at the Tate Modern, this is a collaboration with Uniqlo where you can unleash your inner artist and be inspired by the kinetic art that moves, wobbles and hangs in the Tate’s collection! For more information, Click Here
- Make Your Mark! : Located at The British Museum on 30th May from 11am-6pm there is a free event inspired by Michelangelo where you can create pieces of art on a huge or small scale to take home after the event. More information Click Here
- Digital Kids: Crafty Cameras! Located at the V&A South Kensington from 29-31 May from 11am-4.30pm this free event allows the family to build your own paper camera inspired by early photography. View the creation through an augmented filter to see it in action. For more information, Click Here
